I have tried several other literate programming tools such as web, cweb, and funnelweb, and discover this to represent whose simplest to use. I like no new enlargements of allowing use of adhesive listings package and none -c+ option to allow fragments to turn flagged within the bounds of the starting point. I am planning on using this medium through advise beginning programmers write literate programs while learning C++ for the first time.

I like the intelligibility, the independence of programming terms, and the possibility to effectiveness a plethora of files, among others the Makefile of the project. The nuweb of my latest project can be seen by <http://cli.vu/~paul/webcom/>. There are some points that I hope to like to have in a different way: 1) Handling of arguments in macro's (code scraps). In the original design of nuweb macro's could noit approve of arguments. Later on this facility has been added, but it is still primitive. It is not possible to authorize a received argument amid a macro as argument to another macro. 2) m4-style macro's the ones would set up easy configuration, e.g. to define the names of the directories of these proposal. Often ME work with pre-processing with m4, but then the m4 macro's itself cannot easy be documented inside the nuweb text. 3) Commenting. Within macro's, passages of code can be commented out with the "@%" view character sequence. Off macro's both "%" character ought regarding constitute used for this purpose. However, I find it once in a while convenient at comment out code and text that is no longer used, but not abolish it via the nuweb form. Then it would be easy if everything can be commented uncovered with the same comment character. I think those these points are personal and not valid for other users of nuweb. So, kudo's in favor of the maintainers of nuweb.
